During your IT training as an application development specialist (m/f/d), you will become part of our development teams and gain deep insights into professional software projects. You will learn how applications are planned, developed, and tested, how modern frameworks and technologies are used, and how we create solutions together in agile teams that hundreds of thousands of users use daily. From the start, you actively work on real features and experience firsthand how we build, expand, and continuously improve our platforms.
During your three-year IT training, you will go through various development areas, continuously deepen your technical understanding, and directly contribute to the implementation of new features, tools, and services. Step by step, you develop into a developer who understands how modern software is created and grows in a corporate environment.

Your daily tasks
- You go through our IT departments, explore different teams and products, learn how modern software development works, and actively support the operational daily business.
- You dive deep into the world of programming, learn object-oriented languages like PHP or JavaScript, and apply them in exciting projects.
- You learn how modern technologies like SOLR, RabbitMQ, MySQL, or REDIS work and advance our daily business.
- You develop software solutions for frontend and backend, check your code with automated tests, and understand how Continuous Integration works.
- You learn to use project management software in software development.
- You work in agile teams with Scrum and bring your creative ideas to life.
What we expect from you
- You have at least a secondary school leaving certificate or a higher qualification.
- Your German skills are good and you are also confident in English.
- You are interested in IT and programming and want to delve deeper into the world of software development.
- You already have some basic knowledge of a programming language, such as PHP.
- Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in programming small applications, which you can provide us via a GitHub link.
- You like to work carefully and in a structured manner.
