Senior Node.js Developer (m/f/d) - Payment Project

ALZURA Pay is expanding, and we are building a new development team in Lithuania. This is an exciting opportunity to join us at an early stage and play a key role in shaping the future of our payment platform.

As a Senior Node.js Developer (m/f/d), you will design and build scalable backend services that power our payment platform. Working with modern cloud technologies, event-driven architectures and AWS, you will develop secure, high-performance solutions while actively contributing to architectural decisions and the continuous evolution of our platform.

• Developing, testing, and documenting the planned functionality

• Documentation of planning and implementation processes in the project management software Jira and Confluence

• Several years of professional experience as a Node.js Backend Developer

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript

• Solid understanding of software architecture and backend design principles

• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization and query performance tuning

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures and message queues (AWS SQS or RabbitMQ)

• Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SAM)

• Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose

• Familiarity with Redis and caching concepts

• Proficient english
